Once you’ve found your target, just take your unit to the location and it will take over the space.
It’s worth noting that your opponent can take your Sacred Site by sending your units to the same location. That’s why it’s important that you continue to protect the Sacred Site.
Why should I care about a Sacred Site?
There are some game formats that when you get all the sites you will automatically win the match.
But even if you don’t have this victory mode activated, it will constantly yield a fixed amount of Gold for your civilization.
