Age of Empires 4 has just been released to Steam and Xbox Store for PC. Also, it’s already available for the Xbox Game Pass. Which raises the question will the game be available for the Xbox in the future?
The short answer would be no. Unfortunately, the publicity for Age of Empires 4 was not clear. Since it presented as if the game was also present in the Game Pass version for Xbox. But that is not the case and for now, it will only be available for PC.
Although at this time, it is common to adapt several PC games to consoles, even several strategy games are being ported. Still, it’s hard to imagine something like this happening for the Age of Empires franchise.
