Can I max all my Skill Trees in Borderlands 3?

No, even at level 72 you would not be able to maximize your entire Skill Tree.

However, you may be able to get up to 2 Capstone Skills. Which are the skills at the end of a Skill Tree, but it would be necessary that you don’t try to maximize many different skills.

Will the level cap increase again?

There is still no official information from Gearbox. However, there are still plans to launch new DLCs.

So far most of the DLCs have brought some increase, so it is likely that in the future we will see this happen again. However, it’s worth noting that level 72 was the limit for Borderlands 2 for a long time. Only in its latest DLC Commander Lilith’s Fight for Sanctuary was the limit increased to level 80. So it’s fair to bet that we won’t see this limit being raised for A LONG time.

How do I reach the maximum level of Borderlands 3?

During your normal campaign, your Vault Hunter should reach around level 32. After that, you will have to move on to extra content to continue moving forward.

There are three main actions you can take:

1. Enter Slaughter Domes in order to defeat waves of enemies and thus advance to the next level.

2. Enter Proving Grounds which serve as raids. In this way, you will be able to progress beyond the level to get good equipment

3. Activate Mayhem Mode to increase the difficulty and therefore obtain more loot and experience.

In addition, you can go to True Vault Hunter Mode which is for a GAME +. There you will play the campaign again, but with increased difficulty, which will also yield better loot and even more experience.
