Code Vein: Complete Gift Guide

In Code Vein, you need to send the favorite items of characters to them as gifts to increase points with them. Depending on the rarity of the gift, you will receive some points once the character accepts the gift.

Various gifts are available in Code Vein, each with a different price depending on the points. The highest points you can get from a gift are five points, but that will be costly. There are nine companions in Code Vein, and you will eventually interact with them at some point.

Instead of wasting your resources on unnecessary gifts, you should send a gift that they like the most. For example, there are non-playing characters to help you with game tasks in Code Vein, and you can better your relationship with them by sending these gifts.

To gift items to these nine companions, you must go to the hub in Code Vein, as most of these characters can be found there.

Coco

Coco

You can find Coco at the home base hub as she is a merchant. You will find her sitting on the hood of her car. She likes Chocolate Garlic Flakes, Tomato Oden Sandwiches, Sushi Tacos, and Aromatic Herbs a lot, so if you gift her any of these items, you will receive five points. You can also gift her Blood Bead Candy, Fancy Cologne, Bottled Jam, Powerful Spices, and Organic Soap to get three points.

Davis

Davis

To access the depths in Code Vein, you must get help from Davis. He is a friend of Louis, and he will be available for you early in the game. Some items you should gift to Davis are Bugarally Doll, Classic Camera, Antique LP Record, and Chocolate Garlic Flakes.

These items are worth five gift points each. Some of the best three points gift items are Yellowed Book, Well-worn Tool, Tomato Oden Sandwich, Pungent Cheese, Protein Powder, Expensive Cigars, Boutique Sake, and Blood Bead Candy.

Eva

To enjoy an ending in Code Vein, you must have a good relationship with Eva. She is a nice character who wears a red dress. She is known for her love for seeds, so you gift her flower seeds worth five points. Other five points gifts are Tomato Oden Sandwich and Geisha Noodles.

You should avoid gifting Eva items like Aged Brandy, Protein Powder, Expensive Cigars, and Well-Worn Tools. They will negatively impact your relationship. You will receive a Libertador and a bayonet rifle from Eva if you reach the fifty-point mark.

Io

Io

On your adventure in Code Vein, Io is the first non-playing character you will interact with. He plays a crucial role in the game’s story, so gift him the right items. You must send her gifts to increase points because she will give you a weapon when you reach fifty points.

For this purpose, gift her Local Pendant, Tomato Oden Sandwich, and Curious Novelty because these items are worth five points. She is a very choosy girl, so gifting her anything like Aged brandy or protein powder will further deteriorate your relationship with her.

Jack

To meet Jack and work with him in Code Vein, you must complete the Crown of Sand zone first. He is a mysterious fellow. He is very picky about items, so gift him only some sushi tacos, aged brandy, and a Bugarally Doll to get five points for each item.

He has a magnificent one-handed sword that he will gift only to those who hit the fifty-trading points mark. Items like Well-Worn Tools, Spotless Instruments, Board Games, Stuffed Toys, Undamaged Paint Sets, etc., should be kept from him at any cost.

Louis

Louis

In Code Vein, Louis is the storyline’s main character, and the storyline is incomplete without him. This proves his worthiness, so you should gift him only the right items, such as Tomato Oden Sandwich, Yellowed Book, and Faded Comics because they are worth five points each.

You will be able to get fifty points in no time, and when this happens, you will get some crimson along with the special one-handed sword from him. Other rewards include cartridges and stamps. You will have to get a certain number of points to unlock these rewards.

Mia

Mia

Mia will join you as a companion before you proceed into the Cathedral. Some of the best gift items for Mia are aromatic herbs and fragrant tea that will provide you with five trading points. If you gift her the right items, you will reach the fifty points mark in no time and receive a special bayonet rifle from Mia.

Murasame

Murasame

Rin Murasame will be trading with you for the most part in the home base hub. She is the official merchant in Code Vein, so she knows the values of items. Gift her items like Retro Game, Board Game, Bugarally Doll, and Well-worn Tool to get five points for gifting each item.

Yakumo

Yakumo

Yakumo is yet another companion in Code Vein that you will meet with pretty early on. You can find him in the ruined city center. He doesn’t want to stay sober, so you should gift him the aged brandy to get five points. The best option is the Bugarally doll.

Those who have a good relationship with Yakumo will get a one-handed sword and Oni bane from him. He doesn’t like items such as Undamaged Paint Sets, Bottled Jam, Flower Seeds, Stuffed Toys, Antique coins, Yellowed books, etc.
