Electroculus is an adventure item in Genshin Impact added along with the Inazuma region in Update 2.0. These floating purple items are found throughout the map and will never be in chests. There are 151 Electroculus scattered around, and they do not respawn after being collected.
When an Electroculus is near a player, an icon will appear on your mini-map along with a sound. Using an Electroculus Resonance Stone allows you to find the location of the closest item.
What is an Electroculus used for?
They serve to improve the Statue of Seven in the corresponding region. To level up a statue, you need a certain number of Electroculus. Therefore, with each new level, more Electroculus will be required.
Upgrades give Electro Seal, which can be exchanged for various items and other rewards. One of them is earning XP to increase the adventurer level, which is necessary to proceed in the Genshin Impact story.
