The Ceremony of Eternal Bonding is a special rite of passage for two individuals who wish to pledge their lifelong devotion to each other.
Those who wish to unite, body and soul, in this more than blessed ceremony, are invited to the Sanctum of the Twelve (Sanctuary of the Twelve), where they will be able to swear an oath to their union before the eyes of gods and men.
Players who wish to profess their devotion to one another can perform the rite of passage known as the Ceremony of Eternal Bonding.
How To Start The Ceremony of Eternal Bonding?
Throughout the special quest, “The Ties That Bind“, players will prepare and perform a ceremony with their partner.
Preparations will begin at the Sanctum of the Twelve in East Shroud, where players can choose from one of three ceremony styles:
- The Lover’s Kiss, a joyfully performed ceremony;
- The Spinner’s Hand, a more traditional ceremony;
- The Solemn Oath, a non-denominational ceremony.
Types of Ceremony Plan
To perform a Ceremony of Eternal Bonding, players must submit an entry through FINAL FANTASY XIV: Mog Station.
You can choose one of three planes: standard, gold, and platinum. While the gold and platinum plans charge a fee, they also include a number of additional options, including custom location and mounts.
Standard Plan (Free): The entry level ceremony plan. Includes wedding rings (Eternity Ring), ceremonial attire (Ceremony Attire), emote (/embrace), furniture (Eternity Cake) and hairstyles.
Gold Plan ($20.00 – $10.00 per player): In addition to the features included in the Standard Plan, the Gold Plan offers colorable ceremony attire costumes, a Ceremony Chocobo Whistle mount, carpets and color options of flowers, plus additional options for the procession and recession of the ceremony (such as choice of songs).
Platinum Plan ($40.00 – $20.00 per player): In addition to the features included in the Standard and Gold plans, the Platinum Plan offers additional ceremonial attire and additional carpet and flower color choices.

The Ceremony of Eternal Bonding will take place at Ivory Chapel, housed in the Sanctum of the Twelve. Inside the chapel, you will find dressing rooms for the ceremony, as well as a waiting room for guests.
When selecting the Gold or Platinum Plans, additional decorations will be added to the Ceremony Hall with some color schemes available for you to choose from.
• Gold Plan: White / Pink / Orange
• Platinum Plan: White / Pink / Orange / Blue / Red
Those who use Gold and Platinum will also have the option to adjust the lighting in the chapel to create a more romantic atmosphere.
What are the rewards for The Ceremony of Eternal Bonding?
Throughout the quest, you and your partner will receive various rewards, including special rings and clothing to be worn during the ceremony. Check out what they are below:
Eternity Ring
In preparation for the ceremony, you and your partner should prepare the rings to be exchanged after reciting your vows. Blessed by the Twelve, this ring is a symbol of your undying devotion to your partner.
As proof of the manifestation of your soul link, the rings of eternity have been given special powers so that you can always be on your loved one’s side. Summoning the power of these blessed rings will teleport you to your partner.
- When wearing this ring, you must be in tune with the aetheryte closest to your partner at that time.
- If your partner is in an area where flying a mount is possible, you must meet the flight requirements in that area to be able to teleport to your side.
- Instanced areas will not be accessible.

Ceremony Attire
No ceremony would be complete without the proper attire. As you progress through the quest “The Ties that Bind”, you will get a set of special outfits.
The clothes received will be different depending on the plan selected. Additionally, the veil of each set will change appearance upon entering Ivory Chapel.
- Players who select the Platinum Plan will receive both vestments of devotion and vestments of passion.
- Please note that vestments of passion and devotion have different dye patterns.

Hairstyles
As you progress through the quest “The Ties that Bind”, you will have access to new hairstyles.
You and your partner will also receive tokens by granting a consultation with the esthetician.
- To access the aesthetician, players must first complete the “Beauty Is Only Scalp Deep” quest.

Eternity Cake
Nothing better to celebrate the union than a wonderful wedding cake, and that’s what Eternity Cake is! A cake with more than 5 floors, completely decorated with the most beautiful decorations.
- Eternity Cake can only be used as furniture and cannot be eaten.

/embrace emote
The emote of embrace is the animation of a warmer, more affectionate hug.

Chocobo Ceremony
Wearing a ceremonial saddle, these snow-white chocobos born of Ishgard were bred for use in the Ceremony of Eternal Bonding.
After the process is complete, ride this snow-white chocobo with your partner and head into the sunset.

Guests also receive rewards!
After the ceremony, guests will be presented with minions of Demon Box and Bridesmoogle for their participation.

Cutscenes of your wedding
Cutscenes will take place during three key parts of the ceremony: the procession, the exchange of rings and the recession. The cutscene that takes place during ring swapping varies depending on your selected style.
During the procession and recession, you and your partner will walk in and out of Ivory Chapel. However, the Gold and Platinum Plans offer the option of getting into an enchanted gondola and riding on the Chocobo Ceremonial.
For the Platinum plan, two additional gondolas are available for you to choose from.

Ceremony Officers
The style of ceremony you select will also determine the presiding officer of your ceremony.
• The Lover’s Kiss – Choir Moogle (A moogle blesses your vows and an air kiss animation takes place).
• The Spinner’s Hand – Official of the Graces (A Elezen blesses her vows and there is an animation of raising glasses)
• The Solemn Oath – Vows Officer (A Hyur blesses their vows and enlivens them both signing the wedding papers)

How to invite a guest?
After scheduling a date and time for the ceremony, you and your partner will receive a blank invitation from Etoinelle. Using the blank invitation will produce the ceremony invitations needed for guests to participate. You can distribute invitations directly, using trade with other players, or send them through the Moogle Delivery service.
How many guests can we invite?
You and your partner can send up to 40 invites for a total of 80 guests.
