Phil Spencer confirms that Xbox wish to keep Call of Duty franchise on PlayStation

On his official Twitter, Phil Spencer, the CEO of Xbox Studios, confirmed that he intends to keep the Call of Duty franchise on Playstation, Sony’s platform.

According to Spencer, several calls with Sony leaders were made to “calm the tempers” on the blue side of the force. He commented that Activision will honor all contractual agreements, such as exclusive PlayStation content, and stated that there is no intention to take Call of Duty off the PlayStation. “Had good calls this week with leaders at Sony. I confirmed our intention to honor all existing agreements following the Activision/Blizzard acquisition and our desire to keep Call of Duty on PlayStation. Sony is an important part of our industry and we value our relationship.”
